An investigation is continuing into the discovery of a stolen car along Horseshoe Valley Road late last week.

Armed members of the OPP Canine Unit and the Emergency Response Team patrolled an area near the 11th line in search of two people wanted in connection with the abandoned vehicle.

Police said the Chrysler 300 was westbound when it slammed into the south ditch and demolished a sign marking the intersection at the 11th line.

A passing motorist who reported the ditched vehicle at about 7:30 a.m. said a man and women inside the car were arguing.

The pair had fled the vehicle by the time police arrived at the scene.

The man is described as six feet tall and stocky, with a dark complexion, short dark hair, and wearing a dress shirt and pants.

The woman is believed to be 30 years old, 5’5”, with a slim build, medium-length, dark blond hair, and wearing blue jeans.
