Members of the Brereton Field Naturalists of Barrie are asking volunteers to help them pick up litter along Springwater Township's North Simcoe Railtrail tomorrow (Sat., April 26).

Participating in the clean-up is a great way for high school students to earn some of their Community Service hours. Students should be sure to bring along their Community Service Logs to be signed.

Volunteers will meet at 9:30 a.m at Minesing Station Park on Hwy. 26, just west of Golf Course Road (about three kilometers east of Minesing), in the curve on the north side of the road.

All volunteers need to bring along work or rubber gloves, garbage bags and possibly rubber boots. Refreshments and a barbecue lunch will be served by North Simcoe Railtrail Inc.

Contact Frieda Baldwin at 705-458-4037 for more information.
