The Friends of the Simcoe County Museum brings back the Friends Road Show on Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you have ever wondered about the history or value of those treasures in your home, this is the perfect opportunity for you as experts will be on hand to evaluate your treasures.

During the day, in addition to general appraisers, there will be specialists in jewellery, military items, furniture, coins and fine arts. The cost for evaluation is $5 per item with a maximum of two items per person.

In addition to the Road Show, the Friends will be cooking and selling food.

As of May 1, the outdoor buildings at the museum are open again.

Make an appointment with one of the Road Show experts by calling Shaughna Crew at the Simcoe County Museum at (705)728-3721, ext. 1304 or e-mail shaughna.crew@simcoe.ca.
