Country dance: A dance in support of The Sharing Place will be held Dec. 21 at the Orillia Legion. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and all are welcome. Admission is free but donations to the food bank are requested. There will be live music, a cash bar, refreshments and draw prizes.
Santa parade: The Warminster Santa Claus Parade takes place on Dec. 23. It starts on Warminster Side Road at 2 p.m.
Candles and Carols: The annual Candles and Carols service will be held Dec. 23, at 7 p.m., at Knox Presbyterian Church in Craighurst. Rev. Lois Lyons is the scheduled guest minister.
Free skating: The Washago Rotary Club invites Washago-area families to join in an hour of free skating at the Rama MASK on Dec. 27, at 1 p.m.
Coldwater jam: Local musicians are invited to the 'Jam with the Bellaires' dance at Coldwater Legion on Dec. 30, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
