Hats off to the friends who stopped their friend from getting into her car in a downtown Barrie parking lot, refusing to let her drive home!!

Let her yell all she likes.

It sure beats the potential consequences of driving impaired.

The screams of people being notified of the deaths of loved ones from impaired drivers remain as silent screams for the rest of their days and in the hearts of all the service workers who are present when such news is delivered.

I would like to challenge our communities to follow the lead of these admirable young people who cared more about their friend and everyone else on the road than any fit she may have pitched.

Stop impaired driving any way you can. It's a responsibility that belongs to all of us!
