Student athletes Elizabeth Carter from ODCVI and Matt Siddall from Twin Lakes Secondary School competed recently at the Mother’s Day Regatta hosted by the St. Catharines Rowing Club.

Carter captured the silver medal in the Senior Women’s 63-kilogram single sculls event. Siddall, competing in his first race of the season placed sixth in the final of the Senior Men’s (open) single sculls event.

Both Carter and Siddall train with the Severn River Rowing Club and are preparing for the Junior National time trials, scheduled for June in Welland.
