Before New Tecumseth moves forward with a business improvement area (BIA) for Beeton and Tottenham, it's looking for public input.

Information and input sessions are being held Tues., May 13 at the Muddy Water Tavern in Beeton, and Wed., May 14 at Village Pizza in Tottenham.

Business owners in both communities have been working together since last September and have decided the best way to move forward is creating a single BIA for both of the downtowns. The town is now in the process of enacting a bylaw to establish the boundaries of the BIA coverage area.

Business owners or residents with questions about the new BIA boundaries can visit the locations from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

For more information call 705-435-6219 or 905-729-0057 ext. 230.
