The Wheat Kings, a Tragically Hip cover band, perform Saturday at the annual Kevin Lord Memorial Dance, made bigger and better this year in its new location at the New Tecumseth Recreation Complex.

The event, named in honour of the young man from Beeton who lost his battle with brain cancer in 2006, was held to raise funds for local ball hockey players competing in international championships.

The local band Lights of the Deep also took to the stage at the event.
